A Review Of The Masquerade Arquette

It’s been a year since Panache Lingerie started their retail website My Curves & Me, and to celebrate I was recently offered the chance to spend £50 on the site on any items that I wanted.

I went for the Arquette bra and matching Arquette thong in sizes 36H/18.

I have tried several Masquerade products before, and so, as expected, the 36H was spot on.
Check out my previous review of the Masquerade Rhea bra.
I have to say that Panache do have the best track record for sizing consistency between bras and in house brands, and I am ever grateful for that!

The band was spot on – firm yet fair! If you are inbetween band sizes I would recommend you go for your larger size and don’t expect the band to loosen up all that quickly! The band has two hooks and eyes, and semi adjustable straps. I only had to adjust them a tiny bit, and so I expect they would still work for women with smaller shoulders.

Balconette cups are perfect for giving that orb like wench cleavage, and Arquette was no exception. I felt supported, uplifted and completely comfortable!

The pattern of this bra is so unique and beautiful! It is really rare to find such a fabulous pattern in larger cup sizes, and I loved the tassel details on the gore and on the thong.

My one gripe about this bra would be that the cut under the arms is slightly too low for me, meaning I spill out slightly. I don’t think that this would be rectified by going up a cup size, it feels like it’s purely the cut of the bra.

The size 18 thong was a pretty good fit. I think a 20 would have been more comfortable on my hips, but the white material was really accommodating.

All in all the set was a great fit on me, and it looked amazing, if I say so myself! What a great way to celebrate the first Birthday of My Curves & Me!

*These products were sent to me for review. However, all opinions are 100% my own*

If you want to know more about Panache and ask the brand any questions, then head to their Facebook page later on today (August the 23rd, 2013) between 3pm and 4pm GMT as they are having a live Q&A!
